Wasa-Nabin is a program for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal youth between the ages of 13 & 18 to learn about and participate in Aboriginal culture. Wasa-Nabin provides Aboriginal youth with an opportunity to renew their relationship with cultural teachings and traditional ways of living.We encourage our youth to lead by example and build a positive atmosphere for other youth to follow.

Empowering Our Youth
- By ensuring their involvement with design and delivery of the Friendship Centre programming
- Provide Aboriginal youth with an enthusiasm and awareness of the culture and traditions with their participation
- Enhance your life skill with local and regional support services and peer counseling learning
- Improve physical health and encourage youth to participate in recreational, social, and healing programming
- Develop positive and healthy relationships between youth and the Aboriginal & Non-Aboriginal community, their families and the natural environment
