PROGRAM GOAL
The Indigenous Family Court Work program was established in order to ensure Indigenous youth charged with a criminal offence under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, separating couples, and Indigenous families involved in the Child Welfare system receive fair treatment under the law.
Indigenous Family Court Workers assist Indigenous people in the judicial process as well as provide preventative community legal education
